Who can use GoRun for free?
New source releases allow individuals and freelancers to use it commercially for their own work, and nonprofits for nonprofit activities. Companies need a separate license; service prices include it only by written agreement. Earlier copies distributed under MIT retain their rights.
How are GoCloud and GoRun different?
GoRun is the CMS. GoCloud hosts and sets it up for you.
Will my website be created instantly?
Setup starts after signup, subject to capacity. Track progress in your account. Signup does not charge you.
Can I edit the website myself?
Yes. Edit pages, media, menus and identity. Preview before publishing.
Are a domain and email included?
Your GoCloud subdomain is free. A custom domain needs a paid service term or an explicit owner grant. Domain registration and email are separate.
Can I move my website later?
Yes. Run GoRun on your server and export layouts. Migration assistance is quoted separately.
An agreed scope before delivery
Setup services are reviewed and quoted separately from hosting. Deliverables, timing and support are agreed before work begins. An inquiry does not charge you.
Initial content setup
Provide your business brief, page list and text and images you have rights to use. Page count and revisions are agreed; ongoing writing is not included in hosting.
Migration and integrations
Describe the source system, data volume and integration, without passwords. We review compatibility and identify what transfers and what needs work. Plugin functionality does not migrate automatically.
Handover and support
Review links, previews and access with us. Installation covers agreed deliverables only. Ongoing maintenance, domain registration, email and AI provider costs are separate.
