Choose how to run your site
GoRun is the CMS; GoCloud is the hosted service around it. New source releases use a source-available community license: individuals and freelancers may use them free, including commercially, and nonprofit organizations may use them free for nonprofit activities. Companies, including company-controlled deployments delivered by freelancers, need a separate license. Read the license supplied with your exact release.
GoCloud managed hosting is $19 per month or $228 per year, in USD. Company licensing and installation/support on your infrastructure are separate requests for a quote. Agree eligibility, deliverables and support scope before ordering.
A practical learning path
- Start: create a hosted site or run the source locally, then sign in to that site’s admin.
- Publish: create a draft, arrange pages and navigation, preview, then publish with the right role.
- Collaborate: add people and grant only the permissions their work requires.
- Automate deliberately: configure a provider, review connected context and run a canvas task.
- Operate: verify mail delivery, storage access and payment webhooks separately.
Understand what each status proves
- Saved: configuration has been stored. This does not prove the external service accepts it.
- Test passed: the specific connection probe succeeded. It does not prove every tool or future request will work.
- Activated: the connection has been selected for a particular native capability.
- Completed: a real operation produced its expected result. Review the result before publishing or sharing it.
Find the right guide
The guide menu on every documentation page links all seven topics. Each guide has a short table of contents and concrete steps.
