What the preview is
GoRun Manager opens a native Mac window against a GoRun site you already have. Enter the site domain and sign in through that site's own admin. Use it to reach the workspace quickly; content still lives on the site.
The preview badge on GoCloud means the build is experimental. Capabilities change as the product matures.
Requirements
- Apple Silicon Mac
- macOS 13+
- An existing GoRun site (GoCloud hosted or self-installed) with an admin account you can use
- Current preview version: 0.1.0 (not notarized by Apple)
How to open it on macOS
Because the preview is not notarized, macOS Gatekeeper blocks a normal double-click the first time. Open it from Finder with a right-click (or Control-click) → Open, then confirm Open. Do this only for a build you obtained from GoCloud.
- Install the preview build you received from GoCloud.
- Right-click the app → Open → confirm.
- Enter your site's public domain (for example yoursite.gocloud.run or your custom domain).
- Sign in with that site's admin credentials when prompted.
Current limits
- Password sign-in may still fail or be incomplete in some builds.
- Editor saves and file uploads are not complete yet.
- The app does not create a GoCloud account or provision a site.
- Treat this as a preview for evaluation, not a production workflow.
For a full hosted site without the Mac preview, start on GoCloud instead.
