Connect S3-compatible storage

GoRun supports S3-compatible connection profiles. Saving a profile, testing access and activating a storage purpose are separate steps.

Add your bucket connection

Open Settings → Connections and add an S3 profile. Supply your provider's endpoint, region, bucket and scoped credentials. Use only the permissions needed for your chosen bucket. Never paste access keys into public content.

Test before activation

Use Test connection and read its result. This does not move existing uploads, change your media destination or create a backup. Check your provider's bucket policies and access settings if the test fails.

Choose a purpose in Storage

Open Settings → Storage. Select and explicitly activate the media destination if you want future media to use the bucket. Backup destination and backup settings are separate controls. Configuring a backup destination does not prove that a backup exists or can be restored.

Keep files usable and private

Check an uploaded media file before relying on the destination. AI media and private canvas results follow their workflow's access rules; connecting a bucket does not make private content public. Changing a profile does not prove that old objects were moved. Retain access to the previous destination until you have checked the files.

Verify recovery separately

A successful upload is not a restore test. Enable or run a backup only when you intend to create one, and test restoration in an isolated environment before relying on it. Compare connection types.
