Your first website, step by step

You can create a GoCloud website before paying. Keep your account password private; you use it for your new site's dashboard when the site is created.

1. Choose your starting point

Start free, enter your name and email, choose a complete design and select your website language. Pick an available lowercase address such as your-name.gocloud.run. Launch allows one website per account.

2. Follow setup

Your account shows whether the website is queued, being prepared, ready or needs a retry. Wait for the ready state before opening its dashboard. Setup depends on available capacity; refreshing the status page does not create another website.

3. Make it yours

Open the website dashboard. Edit your site identity, pages and navigation. Replace the starting content, preview your changes and publish when ready. Menu links and translated content are managed separately for each language.

4. Come back to your account

Sign in to GoCloud to open your website, request a service term, or manage eligible custom-domain and add-on options. Your website dashboard and GoCloud account are separate. A later password change in one does not update the other automatically.

5. Upgrade when you need it

Managed hosting is USD19 monthly or USD228 billed yearly. You can submit a manual service request for owner review, or use Stripe when live billing is configured. A submitted request, receipt image or sandbox checkout does not itself confirm a real payment. Compare the services.
