Use a custom AI provider
A saved AI connection is a configuration, not proof that an agent has generated a result. Provider usage and charges belong to your own provider account.
Add a named connection
In your website dashboard, open Settings → Connections. Add an AI profile, choose a supported provider, enter its endpoint and credentials, and save it. Test the connection explicitly. Keep tokens out of articles, prompts and screenshots.
Choose a model for each agent
Open Agents, choose the allowed provider and available model for the named agent, and grant only the permissions it needs. Model discovery and an agent's saved configuration are distinct from a successful task. Different agents can use different models.
Run a reviewed canvas task
Open Canvases and choose a preset or create a board. Connect the content or note you want to use, choose the agent, review the prompt and run it. A named external agent may show a waiting state until its runner picks up the request. Review the returned note before using it.
Keep publication separate
A canvas result does not publish an article automatically. Apply only the changes you approve, then use the normal content review and publication flow. The article writing helper and Studio may need their own explicit provider activation. Explore the workflow.
