Connect your own MCP server
MCP connects tools to the workflows you choose. Adding a server does not grant it unrestricted access to your website or make its tools run automatically.
Save the connection
In Settings → Connections, create an MCP profile. Enter the trusted server endpoint and its required authentication. Use the supported remote transport; local stdio programs are not installed through this form.
Test and discover
Run the connection test to inspect available tools. A successful discovery proves the server responded, not that a particular tool has completed a job. Review each tool's inputs and expected output before choosing it.
Choose it in a task
In the content Studio or an appropriate canvas workflow, select the saved MCP connection and tool. Supply only the content that task needs. Review the data and destination before running it. Multiple connections let you choose a different provider for a different task.
Review the result
Keep content changes as drafts until you approve them. Rendering or video jobs may require a later status check; checking an existing job is different from starting a new paid generation. The MCP provider may charge separately. See included connections.
